Pangalee’s Flourishing Flour Mill Journey

Pangalee Garwal initially worked in agricultural farming, struggling for livelihoods and basic necessities to sustain life. She pondered what business she could undertake alongside household duties to generate daily income. After discussing with her family, they decided to start a flour mill.

Pangalee is a beneficiary of Prayas Financial Services Pvt Ltd, our esteemed partner in India. She and her community members formed a Joint Liability Group (JLG) for financial access and prepared all the necessary documents required to obtain the loan. During this process, Pangalee learned about the Pasio program and its benefits, and she eagerly joined the Pasio community.

In the Pasio WhatsApp community, Pangalee learned about how and when to invest capital in enterprises that provide sustainable income. Additionally, she gained knowledge about digital products and how to avoid cyber fraud. She grasped the importance of financial literacy, and understanding the significance of OTP messages, Aadhaar, and account-related information.

Currently, Pangalee's daily income has increased from an average of ₹300 to ₹500. She extends her gratitude to the entire team for their guidance and to the Prayas Finance company for providing her with the loan.
